MycleTravels
MycleTravels turns your travel photos into a map you can share. You upload photos, the app reads where and when they were taken, and you group those places into trips that anyone with your link can play back like a story.
What you can do
| Map your travels | Every place you have been becomes a marker on your personal world map. |
| Build trips | Group locations into a road trip, flight, cruise, train journey, or a general trip, in the order you traveled. |
| Tell the story | Attach photos, a description, a review, and a rating to each stop. |
| Share it | Publish a public profile at travels.mycle.dev/u/your-name, or share a single trip as a playable link. |
| Stay private by default | Nothing is public until you make it public. Every trip, location, and photo has its own visibility. |
Where to start
- Getting started — sign in and get your account approved.
- Uploading photos — the fastest way to fill in your map.
- Trips — group your locations into a journey.
- Sharing — publish your profile or a single trip.
How the pieces fit together
Photo ──(date + GPS from the photo)──▶ Visited location ──▶ Trip ──▶ Public profile
A photo is a file you upload. If it carries GPS data, MycleTravels creates a visited location for it automatically. A visited location is one point on your map. A trip is an ordered list of visited locations. Your public profile shows the locations and trips you have marked public.
tip
You do not have to use every layer. Photos alone will fill in your map. Trips are only needed when you want an ordered route and playback.
