Photo library

The Library page lists every photo on your account. Use it to find photos, fix their locations, change who can see them, and delete the ones you do not want.

Views

Three view modes are available in the top bar:

ViewBest for
IconsScanning a lot of photos at once.
ListReading metadata — filename, date, place — one row per photo.
GalleryLooking at the photos themselves at a larger size.

Your choice is remembered the next time you open the library. The per page control next to the pager sets how many photos load at a time.

Filters

The filter panel narrows the list by:

  • Uploaded after / Uploaded before — when the photo was added to MycleTravels.
  • Photo after / Photo before — when the photo was actually taken.
  • LocationAny location status, With location, or Without location.
  • Country, State/region, and City — the place the photo was matched to. The choices offered are the ones that actually appear in your library.

Filtering Without location is the quickest way to find the photos that never made it onto your map.

Selecting photos

Select individual photos, or use Select all to take the whole page. The action bar then offers:

  • Edit selected photo location — set or correct where the photos were taken.
  • Change photo visibility — apply a visibility to the Selected photos or to All photos in your library.
  • Delete selected — permanently removes the photos after a confirmation prompt.
warning

Deleting a photo is permanent and also removes it from any trip or location it was attached to.

Fixing a photo's location

  1. Select the photos that need a location.
  2. Choose Edit selected photo location.
  3. Search for the place by name and pick a match.

The photos are moved to that place, and MycleTravels attaches them to the matching visited location on your map — creating it if it does not exist yet.

Previewing

Selecting a photo opens a larger preview with its caption. Close it to return to the list with your selection and filters intact.
